KBB #25 : Devonshire ‘Birthday Party’ Tea

Tantangan kedua telah tiba!! Semakin dekat dengan peresmian sebagai anggota KBB nih.. *dag dig dug*. Bertepatan dengan perayaan ulang tahun KBB ke-4,  ibu-ibu host menentukan tema KBB #25 kali ini adalah Devonshire ‘Birthday Party’ Tea. Resep yang harus di buat adalah SCONES, yang pada saat penyajiannya harus ‘ala’ English afternoon tea. Senang banget dengan tantangan kali ini, karena belum pernah membuat scones sama sekali. Apakah sulit atau gampang, tidak ada bayangan.

CHOCOLATE CHEESE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE

If you’re me, who’s too lazy at calculating portions every time I got big orders, you could end up with a lot of leftover batters, sauce, etc. Last week, after a crazy day of baking lots chocolate cupcakes, I ended up with a whole  bowl of double chocolate chip batter. What to do, what to do? Well, I happened to have lots of grated cheese leftover from baking lasagna. Chocolate and cheese, perfect!!! Cut things short, here’s the recipe…

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 recipe of double chocolate chip batter from this post.
  • 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese.
  • 1/2 cup of sweet condensed milk.

That’s about it. Oh wait… yes, the directions.. 🙂

MARTABAK MANIS

I really don’t know how it’s called in English, but I can assure you it’s delicious!! This time my HappyCall pan came to rescue again..

Ingredients :

  • 250 gr medium protein flour (segitiga biru)
  • 50 gr high protein flour (cakra kembar)
  • 1/2 tsp yeast (fermipan)
  • 350 ml water
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs
  • butter
  • for the toppings : sugar, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate rice, peanuts, cheddar cheese
