Drooling yet? So here’s a new update on the life of Cooking DJ. I’ve been away from this blog for such a long time, I miss sharing my daily kitchen activities. But it also means that I’m doing great with my baking/cooking business, yay for me! Anywaay…
A few months ago, Cooking DJ was asked to filled a segment on this brand new cooking channel called Kokiku TV. Kokiku TV is a part of Fimela.com family, which is an Indonesian online fashion & lifestyle magazine. Nadia, the representative of Kokiku TV contacted me about the idea of doing a cooking show, that will be broadcast online. I was on board immediately, and we begin to prepare the recipes. After all preparation was done, we set up a meeting at her house to shoot the show. But then on the shooting day, I was sick, like.. really sick.
I had a terrible flu, and my nose wouldn’t stop running. I went to Nadia’s house, only because of the promise I already made, it would be unprofessional of me to cancel at the last minute. Her house was gorgeous, with big beautiful kitchen. I was like, oh damn.. how I’m suppose to do a cooking show, when I couldn’t even speak a sentence without snorting my nose? But to my surprise, she brought me to another room which she already set the camera, and props. Then she explained to me the concept of the show, and I was uberly delighted!! All I can say was, thanks, God! We shoot from noon to night, four recipes, four delicious desserts on the table. It was very very tiring, especially when I wasn’t on my healthiest condition, but we finished!
Check some of the gorgeous photos from the shoots…
